Loaded's Guide to Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a city that never slows down, a playground of neon lights, endless entertainment, and indulgence. Whether you’re there for a weekend or a week, here’s your ultimate guide to the best spots to eat, drink, and keep the fun going.

Where to Eat

1. STK Las Vegas
Location: The Cosmopolitan
Steak lovers, this one’s for you. STK blends high-end dining with a vibrant atmosphere, serving up prime cuts alongside live DJs and a party vibe. You’re as likely to find a celebrity here as you are a perfectly cooked ribeye.

2. Jaleo by José Andrés
Location: The Cosmopolitan
A Spanish feast in the heart of Sin City. José Andrés’ Jaleo serves some of the best tapas outside Spain. The iconic paella cooked over an open fire and the jamón ibérico are absolute musts.

3. Bazaar Meat by José Andrés
Location: SAHARA Las Vegas
Carnivores rejoice! This place is a temple to meat, where the menu includes everything from suckling pig to bison. If you’re not afraid to go all out, try the "Vaca Vieja" ribeye—dry-aged to perfection.

4. Eggslut
Location: The Cosmopolitan
Breakfast or brunch, Eggslut is the go-to for hangover cures. Their Fairfax sandwich is legendary: fluffy scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, and cheddar on a warm brioche bun. Perfect for fueling up before a day of Vegas adventures.

5. Secret Pizza
Location: The Cosmopolitan (hidden!)
It’s Vegas, so of course, there’s a hidden pizza spot. No signs, no menus—just incredible New York-style pizza by the slice. If you find it, consider yourself in the know.

Where to Drink

1. The Chandelier
Location: The Cosmopolitan
One of the most Instagrammable spots in Vegas, The Chandelier is a three-story bar encased in a shimmering curtain of crystals. Whether you're looking for craft cocktails or something unique, like the "Verbena" cocktail, this place doesn’t disappoint.

2. Skyfall Lounge
Location: Delano Las Vegas
For those who prefer their drinks with a view, Skyfall Lounge offers panoramic scenes of the Strip. Grab a drink just before sunset to see the city come alive from 64 floors up.

3. XS Nightclub
Location: Wynn Las Vegas
When the night turns to madness, XS is the place to be. With some of the biggest DJs in the world, this nightclub offers a massive dance floor and poolside tables. The party doesn’t stop until dawn.

4. Velveteen Rabbit
Location: The Arts District
If you’re into craft cocktails in a low-key, artsy environment, Velveteen Rabbit is a hidden gem. Every cocktail is a work of art, with rotating seasonal menus that push the boundaries of mixology.

5. Atomic Liquors
Location: Fremont Street
This dive bar is a Vegas legend—literally the oldest free-standing bar in town. It got its name from when people used to sit on the roof and watch atomic bomb tests in the desert. You won’t see any explosions today, but the drinks still pack a punch.

What to Do

1. Fremont Street Experience
Step back in time and experience old-school Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience. Live music, light shows, street performers, and plenty of casinos to keep you entertained all night long. Don’t miss the SlotZilla zipline if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush.

2. The High Roller
Location: LINQ Promenade
Take a spin on the world’s largest observation wheel. It’s 550 feet tall, offering a fantastic view of the Strip and beyond. For the ultimate experience, book a ride with an open bar in your cabin.

3. Cirque du Soleil
It doesn’t get more Vegas than Cirque du Soleil. With multiple shows to choose from, including O, KA, and Michael Jackson ONE, expect jaw-dropping acrobatics, elaborate costumes, and unforgettable performances.

4. Gun Store Vegas
Location: Just off the Strip
Feeling the need for something a little more high-octane? Head over to the Gun Store where you can fire a range of weapons, from handguns to machine guns. It's an experience you'll definitely be telling your mates about.

5. Area 15
Location: Off-Strip
For something completely out of this world, Area 15 is a new immersive art experience like no other. Wander through mind-bending art installations, interactive games, and virtual reality zones. Perfect for a break from the casino floor.

    Bonus: The Hangover Cure
Before you pack your bags and head out for round two, you’ll need to cure that inevitable hangover. Reviv at MGM Grand offers IV therapy to get you back on your feet, fast. Whether it’s dehydration or over-indulgence, this spot will make sure you’re ready to go again in no time.

That’s the Loaded guide to Las Vegas—whether you're here to indulge, party, or find the best late-night eats, Sin City has you covered. Time to roll the dice and see where the night takes you!
