Blac Chyna is Back Together Again

Angela White, otherwise known as Blac Chyna, has been shot down more times than Clint Eastwood. Repeatedly condemned by the media and shunned by those she was once close to, we figured there must be more to the story.

For starters, she’s been posting a ton of fitness content on her Instagram lately and secondly, she’s looking more natural. As Loaded drops the heavy makeup and balloon boobs from its publication, Blac Chyna ticks our boxes as a worthy woman for a good old chin wag.

Famed for her relationships with Tyga and Rob Kardashian, Angela has two children; King, 10 and Dream, 6, whom she says shape her world.

Without an inkling of indignation, Angela takes a seat in the sunshine to chat to Loaded about her untold home life and her now found penchant for fitness.

“I started working out with my trainer in 2017, but not consistently,” she says. “Then maybe a year and a half ago I was like, “You know what? I'm going to take this seriously and see if my body can transform”. I started really seeing results after I took out my fillers and implants. That’s what motivated me to go further. Having had two kids, even getting abs for me was just mind-blowing.

“My mental health has strengthened considerably since I’ve started training, because working out requires discipline. Even on those days I don't want to work out, I still go to meet my trainer at the set time. I like the fact that I get an extra hour to myself, where I can focus purely on my workouts and clear my mind.

“I train three to four times a week. I take Sundays off for church and to be with the kids, and Saturdays are mostly chilled too. I usually just go for a walk on the weekends or do something silly like squats before I get in the shower. I'll work out with the children too. Dream always wants to do everything that I do, so now she's really into fitness and gymnastics and just anything that's super active.”

Angela has posted videos on Instagram showing off her tireless battle rope skills, but despite the hardcore appearance of her workouts, she reckons she doesn’t do much cardio.

“I don't do a lot of cardio,” she says. “I’m more into lifting weights, but I go low weight high reps so I’m long and lean rather than bulky. Each person is different. I have a female trainer just now, and she and I work perfectly together.

“I just started releasing videos of my workouts out on passes.com, and my daughter Dream is training alongside me in some of them. I just let her be in the video, but I rarely post my kids like that. I try to keep their lives private.

“Most of my videos are home workouts, because I feel like a lot of time people can't get to the gym very easily, or they don’t want to exercise in a packed environment. When you keep doing the same movement repeatedly, even water bottles become surprisingly heavy. It might look silly at first, but you get great results.”

“I’m really watching my diet too. I eat really light, I don’t snack throughout the day. I love grilled food and I love to cook. I eat pretty much anything, but when I’m full, I stop. I don’t pig out. Also, black coffee. I love black coffee.”

Apart from looking bang on, Angela is smashing parent life in the most ‘wife goals’ way imaginable.

“This weekend, my son Kingy and I watched Batman then just chilled together. had a movie night. We just sit back and enjoy each other's company.

“I don't pressure my kids to do TikTok or go on Instagram; none of that stuff. I just let them be kids. I mean, why would I expose my kids? I've had a lot of people reach out and say, "Oh, well, maybe you should put them in acting." And I'm just like, “you know what? No, I'm good”. I want to let them get their education and see what it is that they want to do. I'm not going to put pressure on them. I don’t want them to start feeling body conscious or to develop insecurities.

“What a lot of people don't realise is that our childhood shapes us for life. We don't just develop new personalities or characteristics as adults. So, I try to protect my children as much as I possibly can. And even though the media talk so badly about me, I know that God knows I have a good heart and I treat my kids well. I know how my kids feel about me too and no one can take that away from us.”

Angela even hints at another stab at reality TV.

“I would definitely step back into reality by myself because I feel I have so much more to offer,” she says. “I first came out in 2008 and before, I would never do interviews or speak openly, I would just let people say whatever they wanted to say about me. I think that hindered the public perception of me and now, I want to turn a new leaf and have the chance to cast myself in a positive light.

“The old me would just do things my own way, but now I'm like, “No, God, you lead me because I am done”. It’s all about feeling good from the inside out, not just looking good physically. We only have one body; we can’t just swap it out like a car. I fast every now and then to clear my mind and detox my body. The longest that I fasted for was 72-hours. I thought I was going to be super, super tired, aggravated and irritated, but it was the total opposite. I was way more energetic. My mind was sharper, and I could see things so much more clearly. I felt so calm. If I eat something I feel I need to detox out, I’ll jump into a fast. I love my food though.”

And if you need to share any beauty tips with the lady in your life, Angela’s got you!

“For great skin, I’d advise to never sleep with your makeup on! The cream that I use is La Mer, I love their cream. And that's really it for me.

“I’m so proud of this body I’ve built. I want to put it a bikini on with my new muscles and have them poking out so bad. I can't wait.”
