Oh, raw denim, you absolute gem! You're not just making a comeback; you're stirring a rebellion in our hearts, rallying us against the fleeting and the forgettable.
Our steadfast mate in a sea of fast fashion fluff. Each pair, stubborn and stiff at first touch, is a testament to endurance, a promise to age gracefully alongside us. It’s incredibly poignant, isn’t it? Slipping into these jeans, knowing they’ll adapt, soften, and bear the marks of every life chapter we stride through. This fabric isn’t just cloth; it’s a living scrapbook, dyed in the deep blues of our personal sagas.
The timing is just right. We’re surrounded by bots and we’re craving genuine connections in a world that’s all too ready to discard and replace. Raw denim offers more than durability; it offers a saga, an odyssey of personal expression. Each fold and fade is a narrative beat in the epic of our lives.
Fashion’s bigwigs have clocked the trend, flooding us with options that echo our longing for the real deal. And it’s not just about nostalgia; it’s a bold declaration of who we are.
There’s a magnetic pull to raw denim. It’s more than attire; it’s a lifestyle choice that screams courage over conformity, that favours the timeless over the temporary.
Loaded welcomes back our rugged old friend with open arms and well-worn knees.

The Brandon Jean by &SONS
Your everyday denim for every occasion. A light weight 12oz raw denim with added 1% stretch to the weave for movement and flexibility. A classic 5 pocket style with subtle features including a contrast overlock stitch.
The Brandon is a slim leg, with a slight taper and worn on the hips. The denim will gently fade creating subtle shades in heavily worn areas.
Indigo dye, by its nature is not very colour-fast. This is what helps to create the fades on your jeans after wear! Avoid contact with lighter coloured clothes and upholstery when wearing raw denim as the colour can transfer.
The Drain Pipe jean has reached cult status over the years, made popular by rockers in the ’60s and the punks through the ’70s... but its origins go back as far as the 17th Century… Men’s breeches, the aristocratic grandfather of the drainpipe jean were very popular among French royalty and like many fashion trends, began to spread across other parts of Europe including the UK. During the 1800’s they resurfaced as a mark of rebellion during the French Revolution in the form of ‘pantaloon’. Fast forward over a century and slim jeans came into their own during the ‘Beatnik’ era in the 1950s. Icons of style such as James Dean, Marlon Brando and Elvis were known for favouring tighter fitting trousers. Through the ’70s and ’80s, the drainpipe jean was kept simple by most brands which paved the way for personalisation as we reached the height of anarchy in the era of punk. Rips, holes, safety pins and patches became the uniform of the punk generation which saw bands such as The Ramones and later, The Cult epitomise the denim dress code in nearly every album cover and photoshoot. Decades on the drainpipe jean is cemented as a counterculture, wardrobe essential in any guys wardrobe. The fitted cut allows for freedom of movement and an array of styles to pick from.
Style Tip: Add a simple white T and plimsolls with a few turn-ups and you have a summer look that never fails. If you want to keep it classic, introduce your favourite vintage leather jacket and work boots.
