The Lottery Winners: “KOKO”  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The indie foursome release the feelgood album of the year

Imagine if The Smiths necked a few pints, let their hair down, and actually threw a proper knees-up. That’s The Lottery Winners for you. Smart, sharp lyrics wrapped in banging, feel-good tunes.

Their latest album takes a deep dive into frontman Thom Rylance’s ADHD diagnosis, but don’t expect any sob stories; this is all about turning it into a supercharged gift. Case in point? “Superpower” smashes it.

Every track is a belter, with some top-tier collabs along the way, including Chad Kroeger, Reverend and the Makers, and Shed Seven. No filler, just absolute fire from start to finish.

Stand-out tracks:  “Dirt and Gold”, “ You Again”
