Cast: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If All Change was Cast kicking the door in with a grin and a melody, Yeah Yeah Yeah now sees them owning the room, three decades later. John Power doubles down on the big choruses, sun-lit optimism and that faint whiff of Merseybeat nostalgia, only now it’s wrapped in a thicker, louder, more we know what we’re doing sound. This is Britpop revived with its chest puffed out, pint in hand, eyes fixed firmly on the horizon.

It’s the sound of a band on top of its game and not letting up. This is Cast refining their thing: big anthems and big feelings, with zero embarrassment about either. In the mid-90s scrap between art-school miserablists and terrace-chant optimists, Cast planted their flag firmly on the side of melody, belief and a good time. And they’re still having a blast with no signs of stopping.

Put it on loud, nod your head, and yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s glorious.
