Footasylum x Jordan Unveil “The Basement” at Oxford Street

Opening Saturday 14th February | 73–89 Oxford Street, London, W1D 2JL

Footasylum and Jordan are set to officially open The Basement this Saturday 14th February, a reimagined community creator space located within the basement of Footasylum’s Oxford Street store.

Designed as a living, breathing cultural hub, The Basement transforms the lower level of the store into a dedicated environment built for the people, by the people. More than just retail, it’s a space where culture, community, content creation and entertainment come together,  a true “third space” where you can pull up, feel comfortable and create something meaningful.

The opening was celebrated last night with an exclusive preview event, welcoming community members, emerging talent and cultural leaders for a first look at the space ahead of its public launch.

Rooted in Footasylum’s long-standing commitment to championing young creators, The Basement will host workshops, collaborative sessions and open-access opportunities for aspiring DJs, podcasters, designers and next-generation creatives. It’s an extension of the brand’s mission to open doors and provide platforms for emerging voices.

Jordan’s cultural legacy meets Footasylum’s community-first ethos in a space designed to evolve with the people who use it. This isn’t just about product,  it’s about participation. The Basement only works because of the community inside it.

Doors open to the public at 9am on Saturday 14th February. The store will trade daily from 9am to 9pm.
