Summer’s here, and what better way to embrace the sunshine than firing up the barbecue? Whether you’re in your backyard or on the move, there’s something about cooking over an open flame that feels like the ultimate way to enjoy a meal. If you want to turn your al fresco dining into a real event, the Weber Traveler Gas BBQ is your new best mate. It’s portable, powerful, and ideal for those who want an easy, high-quality cooking experience, whether at home or on the go.

The barbecue’s roots go way back to the Indigenous people of the Americas, who cooked over open fires long before the gas and charcoal versions we know today. And it’s great for the summer bod. When you grill, excess fats drip away, leaving you with leaner cuts of meat. Plus, grilling tends to preserve more vitamins and minerals in your veggies compared to steaming or boiling.

The Weber Traveler takes all that goodness and simplifies it. With its foldable design and gas-powered cooking, you get the freedom to grill without waiting for coals to heat up. This beast is built for convenience, ensuring your steaks, burgers, and sausages are cooked perfectly every time. And it's not just about meat. Get creative with veggies, fish, and even pizza. The open flame gives everything a unique, smoky flavour that can’t be beaten.

If you want to elevate your BBQ game, why not try some recipes that go beyond the usual burger and sausages? Start with grilled lamb burgers. Try HECK’s range of high-quality lamb patties for a juicy, flavour-packed bite. Add some grilled halloumi and a dollop of minted yogurt to take it up a notch. For a lighter touch, toss some asparagus, zucchini, and peppers on the grill, seasoned with olive oil, lemon, and fresh herbs. Or, for a crowd-pleaser, throw on a few skewers of marinated chicken with garlic, lemon, and thyme – simple, yet absolutely delicious.

Of course, any barbecue worth its salt needs to be paired with the right tableware. That’s where Peugeot steps in. Known for their premium products, they’ve got everything from pepper mills to salt grinders that’ll have you looking like a pro in the outdoor dining stakes. Their Paris Nature range is made from upcycled wood and offers a sleek, modern design that’s both eco-friendly and stylish. The elegant designs make the pieces a perfect for an outdoor feast and their stylish salt and pepper mills and oil dispensers will give you a truly sophisticated BBQ setup. Who said Peugeot just did cars?

So, get yourself a Weber Traveler, a bit of creativity, and the right gear, and you can turn any meal into a summer celebration.
