Loaded Cover Stars of the 90s- Where Are They Now?

A throwback to the oh so golden days
Loaded Cover Stars of the 90s- Where Are They Now?

“I like a bit of rough. Footballers, roofers, folks who get banged up”.: Daniella Westbrook, Loaded May 96

Ramsey Street might have been churning out the cover stars in the 90s, but Albert Square wasn’t too far behind. Daniella Westbrook has been back to the “Square” in recent years but has mostly been in the news for the wrong reasons. Her battles with drug addiction, and plastic surgery complications took her to a low point, but she seems to have come through the worst, and is now reportedly in a “good place”.

We remember the good times, Daniella. You’re a Loaded star.

Donna D'Errico - November 96

“I’d have no time for a relationship now if it came and knocked me on the butt”: Donna D’Errico, Loaded November 96

Otherwise known as Donna Marco from the TV series Baywatch, Donna D’Errico is a former Playboy model and TV presenter. She’s also starred in a few feature films, most notably Austin Powers in Goldmember.

She’s still in the limelight for her charity work, and for launching her OnlyFans account at the age of 55. You’ll come back to this page once you’ve checked, yeah? See you in five minutes.

“I was looking round the back end of a cow and it shat itself”

Yes, celebrities of the 90s had plenty to say, and some interesting tales to tell. Let’s take ourselves back to the golden days when folk said whatever they were thinking. Are the stars of yesteryear still going strong, or did they fizzle and burn out?

Elle MacPherson - July 94

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with nudity. I’m naked from the moment I have to be to the moment I don’t have to be, and nothing more”:  Elle MacPherson, Loaded July 94

Elle MacPherson was nicknamed “The Body” by Time magazine and kickstarted her modelling career with five front cover appearances for Sports Illustrated magazine, and has since gone on to form numerous businesses including fashion wear and body care products, as well as producing several TV series.

Her career peak, no doubt, was appearing on the front cover of Loaded magazine.

After discovering that the media were asking her ex-boyfriends for nude pictures of her, she decided to pose for Playboy magazine, so she could do it on her terms, and take ownership.

Her talent knows no bounds as she’s also appeared in several major feature films, like Sirens, The Mirror Has Two Faces, and Batman and Robin, as well as several appearances in Friends.

Nowadays, she devotes herself to her business and charity work, and we’re sure she hasn’t ruled out another Loaded shoot.

Uma Thurman- Feb 95

“The film business can turn you into an infant.” : Uma Thurman, Loaded May, 95

As our writer proclaimed back then, she had both brains and beauty. And she still does of course. A legend of the 90s screen, not least from her hypnotising performance in Pulp Fiction. We never did get to see her audition for the fictitious Fox Force Five pilot mentioned in the movie, but I bet she stormed it.

She was injured in a car crash when filming Kill Bill in 2003 after Tarantino insisted she did her own driving stunts. He was majorly apologetic and stated it was the biggest regret of his life. She has since forgiven him, and they’re buddies once more.

As well as continuing her acting career, these days she has turned her attention to campaigning for human rights. And if you’re reading this Uma, you’re more than welcome to come back for a chat over a “Royale With Cheese” any time.

Jo Guest - January 96

“I get dressed up a bit, I get a bit naughty, and pretend I get horny on the job. I get my kit off, and then I have a bacon sandwich.” : Jo Guest, Loaded, Jan 96

In the early 90s, you couldn’t pick up a lad’s mag without seeing at least one picture of glamour model Jo Guest. She even made an appearance in Blur’s Country House video, but you knew that already, didn’t you?  She was everywhere. In an unexpected turn, she decided to try her hand at rally driving in the early 00s and presented shows on Men And Motors for a while.

In 2008, she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a syndrome that causes pain, and fatigue, and she dropped out of public life to concentrate on her health and wellbeing. We wish her all the best and thank her for the memories.

Nicola Charles- January 98

“I was looking round the back end of a cow and it shat itself”: Nicola Charles, Loaded Jan 98

Most recognised for her character Sarah Beaumont in Neighbours, she’s certainly had a diverse career. Born in England, she moved to Australia and found instant fame and success in the Australian soap during the 90s. When the acting work dried up, she moved to Los Angeles for a while and then back “down under” to reprise her role in Neigbours in 2013.

In recent years, she’s become a bit of a conspiracy theorist, calling herself “The White Rabbit” on social media platform ‘X’. She claims the establishment of “The Voice” will soon take over the world. Is that the Tom Jones lot? You’ve got to worry that she’ll be sitting on an analyst's couch one day being asked when the problems started. “Well, there was this cow…”

Michelle Norkett- April 98

“If he asks you to use a jam-jar for your B&H, use his prick to stir his cuppa”, Michelle Norkett, Loaded April 98

Michelle is still going strong in an industry she clearly loves. She’s a model, actress, and fashion designer, although  she has only two front cover magazine appearances to our knowledge, One of these was for Loaded, and whilst we have no conclusive proof, I think we’re all agreed that this is what has propelled her career to where it is today. Good on you Michelle, and thanks for dropping by.

Natasha Henstridge - September 98

“I really don’t have much of an inhibition about being nude”: Natasha Henstridge, Loaded Sept 98

I don’t think anything could have prepared me for Henstridge’s appearance in the 95 sci-fi movie Species. Me and my mate thought we were just going to see a movie about aliens and got more than we bargained for. She won the MTV Award for “Best Kiss” for that movie, as well as winning over a whole load of new fans.

Her TV and movie career has been varied, including parts in South Park, where she played “The chick from Species”, and John Carpenter’s Ghosts Of Mars (It’s awful. I mean really awful).

And just for a bit of trivia, she was once engaged to Darius Danesh.

So there you have it. The ghosts of the Loaded past. So who’s next? Patience my man, patience.
