MOSS AUTUMN/WINTER 26: GOOD COMPANY, GREAT CLOTHES

Moss proves that tailoring doesn’t have to be reserved for the big occasion with an Autumn/Winter collection built around relaxed silhouettes, quality fabrics and clothes designed to actually be lived in.

There’s something refreshingly straightforward about Moss’ Autumn/Winter 26 collection. Rather than tailoring being saved for weddings, interviews or the office, the British menswear brand has built a collection around the clothes you actually reach for when meeting friends, heading out or making the most of the colder months.

Titled ‘In Good Company’, the campaign follows the same idea. Shot by Simon Lipman at The Yards Studio in east London, it brings together creatives, models, Moss staff and menswear obsessives who already have a connection with the brand. The result feels more authentic than your standard polished fashion shoot.

And thankfully, the clothes back it up.

For AW26, Moss has relaxed its tailoring with softer shoulders, enhanced silhouettes and upgraded construction, alongside Italian-woven cloths. The double-breasted suit is a standout, available in heavyweight flannels, silk, cashmere and organic wool. Classic Moss, but with a much more relaxed attitude.

Corduroy gets an upgrade too. Made using Italian Drago cloth, the finer-wale cords come in navy and chestnut brown and work just as well with an Oxford shirt as they do dressed up with the season’s Italian-silk ties and pocket squares.

Shirting gets a premium boost through a new partnership with Turkish mill Söktaş, producing blue and white striped shirts from sustainably grown cotton – the kind of wardrobe staple that will earn plenty of wear.

Outerwear is another highlight, with a clever 3-in-1 hybrid jacket combining a gilet and lightweight coat, alongside an Italian-cloth overcoat with a removable wool insert. Add soft suede and moleskin jackets and there’s plenty to build a winter wardrobe around.

Knitwear gets equally serious, with cashmere and merino wool joined by a 100% cashmere cardigan, oversized lambswool jumper and lighter merino sweaters for those awkward in-between days.

For frequent travellers, the hybrid holdall suit carrier is a particularly smart addition, combining space for clothes, shoes, accessories and a washbag with a wraparound suit carrier designed to keep tailoring crease-free.

Footwear continues the versatile approach, with Portuguese-made patent Oxfords, suede loafers and boots, plus low-top leather trainers designed to take some of the formality out of suiting.

The Custom Made offering gets an autumnal refresh too, drawing from an archive of cords, flannels and tweeds. Taupe, khaki and brown sit alongside richer shades of olive green and plum.

What makes AW26 work is its versatility. These are clothes designed to be worn, mixed and matched rather than left hanging in the wardrobe waiting for an occasion. Tailoring can be broken up, knitwear layered, outerwear dressed up or down, and formal footwear paired with more relaxed looks.

That fits perfectly with the ‘In Good Company’ philosophy. Moss isn’t just selling clothes to look good in; it’s selling the clothes you wear for dinner with friends, post-work drinks, weekends away and those last-minute plans that somehow turn into a much later night.

The verdict? Moss’ AW26 collection makes modern tailoring feel less precious and considerably more wearable. There’s still plenty for the traditional suit customer, but the softer silhouettes, premium fabrics, smarter casualwear and genuinely useful outerwear give the collection much broader appeal.

Good clothes, good versatility and plenty of good times to wear them in.
